The four color casemaker at the Klingele plant in Delmenhorst has been installed in line with the original MHI MPF-M prefeeder, ensuring stable operation of the machine at maximum productivity
“Klingele Group is part of Blue Box Partners with VPK Group (Belgium), Hinojosa (Spain) and Scatolificio Sandra (Italy) where we have many EVOLs. However, this is the first EVOL in Klingele and we are very happy. The launch went very smoothly, and the customer is absolutely satisfied,” Giovanni Bettini, Head of Sales, Corrugating Machinery Division, MHI Europe Ltd., said to gofro.expert.
“This order is further testament to the quality and reliability of the machine.”
Prior to the COVID-19 lockdown, Klingele Group attended an Open House event hosted by Mitsubishi in Japan, where they saw several EVOLs.
In addition to the visit, Klingele’s technical team held a dialogue with other box manufacturers that operate under the Blue Box Partners pan-European packaging solutions alliance. The supply contract was signed last winter. The EVOL 100 line in Delmenhorst is the 14th in the alliance.
For reference
Delmenhorst was home to the first subsidiary of the Klingele Group, built in 1955 and now serving customers in Northern Germany.
In Delmenhorst – and at all other Klingele’s German production facilities – they manufacture corrugated boxes, die-cut packaging and pre-glued folding boxes in a variety of shapes and sizes, which are used to protect goods in transit or as retail/POS packaging.
The factory employs 220 people, has an annual capacity of 80,000 tons or 160 million m², and a building area of 48,000 m².
