“Conveyors for roll handling, board handling and finishing goods systems are entirely controlled by computer programming. Any conveyor system has a simple operation with less manpower.
“Our automatic conveyors can follow the ERP schedule and production list. This prepares and transfers all the rolls or sheets to the destination, thus, reducing time for manual operation and onsite checking. This helps to speed up production.
“Our computer systems include the online interface for operator’s ease. All systems display production data, dimensions and customer information on the screen. This allows employees to easily identify information.
“With our roll handling systems, forklifts drop paper rolls on the skid plates. Every skid plate can store up to four rolls. When the stopper goes down, a paper roll travels onto the conveyor belt. The roll stopper on the other side is holding “and slowing it down. The roll is following the V-type slat curve that positions it in the center of the conveyor.
“Roll handling system operates using computer data to automatically pick up rolls. They are placed into each roll stacker.
“Buffer conveyor roll stackers have turntable equipment. Sensors between turntable and slat conveyor control the gap and position of the paper rolls. This protects them when the table is running.
“The turning cycle for each turntable is around 40 seconds per roll. It takes 8 seconds to turn 90 degrees. Roll handling system running at full capacity can handle up to 80 rolls per hour.
“Board handling system starts from the corrugator stacker and travels to each converting machine. This includes plastic belt conveyor, crossing conveyor, crossing turntable and shuttle cart. Corrugated sheets start from the corrugator stacker and move to the transfer.
“Then the sheets move to the plastic conveyors WIP area. The system automatically picks up the bundle and adjusts the pace according to the stacker speed.
“All sheet bundle data is transferred from the ERP system to our Ship Flow Information System (SFIS) and follow ERP or MES production guides.
“Corrugator stacker side has the crossing turntable allowing the system to change the bundle and feeding direction. If there are problems with sheet bundles, the system changes line direction moving them to the quality check area. After QC, the system confirms and feeds the sheets back to WIP area.
“T.E. systems also include shuttle carts. On the corrugator side, crossing conveyor’s shuttle cart can pick up two bundles at once. This design allows avoiding delays in the pick-up time.
“The shuttle cart’s normal running speed is up to 100 m/min. It includes a PLC and an inverter helping with the low-speed start and high-speed slow down. This prevents sheet bundles from dropping off the shuttle cart accidentally.
“All transitions are controlled by laser eyes. The system can switch to manual mode for an urgent order or maintenance.
“Each shuttle cart includes two safety sensors that protect it while traveling on the rail. Any obstacle in the cart’s path triggers the sensors that activate the automatic stop.
“Bundles following from WIP area to converting machines are separated by sizes and colors. In the computer interface, different size zones are displayed in various colors for each flexo machine. This makes the job easier to identify for the “order process. Each interface shows detailed bundle information such as barcode, order, length, width, quantity, etc.
“In the buffer area, our Sheets Flow Information System automatically changes the bundle position. Dense stacking of conveyors reduces the required storage space.
“In flexo area, conveyor system automatically separates the bundles for pre-feeders. Every flexo has a computer working station for operators to check and manage the orders.
“In the finished goods area, a shuttle cart picks up the stacked box bundles from the robot, load former or manual stacking. Shuttle car can pick up from different loading positions. This allows the cart to feed bundles to pallet inserters for strapping and wrapping.
“A single pickup area for forklifts is designed for safety reasons. This prevents forklifts from entering the finished goods area, protecting operators and keeping products safe.
