Press Felt EMX M has been developed to meet board makers’ requirements for a fast start-up, excellent runnability, high dewatering and long lifetime, contributing simultaneously to energy savings
“Our customers have valued the secured planned lifetime, stable running, and good board quality they have reached with this new design,” says Marko Vesanen, Product Manager for press felts at Valmet. “The EMX M felts have started up fast and there haven’t been any runnability issues. We are very happy to see once again the outcome of the fruitful R&D work done over the years in collaboration with our customers.”
The new clothing has already been run successfully on several world class board machines, both on center press and linear press concepts.
Valmet Press Felt EMX M is a laminated modular felt with combined twisted and monofilament yarns. The base structure is easily adjustable. The felt features high compaction resistance and CMD (Cross Machine Direction) stability. The structure is very durable and optimal against wrinkles and marking.
