The company took 90th place with revenue of 124.1 billion rubles
Along with the rating, Forbes analysts published a list of 12 top women in Russian business. For the second year in a row it includes Ksenia Sosnina, CEO of Ilim Group.
According to Forbes, Ksenia Sosnina joined the Ilim‘s board of directors in 2015, and headed the company a year later. Prior to that, she worked in the same industry as a President of the U.S. International Paper‘s Russian subsidiary.
Ilim Group produces over 3.4 million tons of products per year, making 75% of Russian market pulp, 20% of cardboard and 10% of paper. In the 1990s, the company’s top manager was the future president of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev.
Currently, 50% of the Group is owned by the American International Paper. By 2022, Ilim plans to invest about 67 billion rubles in the Big Ust-Ilimsk project. With this, the total production of the Group‘s enterprises will increase by 1 million tons per year.
